Hey everyone!

Finally giving VS Code a go.

I love Coda 2/Nova Beta but there's lots of little features bugging me to have a go with VS Code. Particularly interested in auto-compiling SCSS and the far superior IntelliSense.

Are there any extensions you'd consider 'must-have'?

The TypeScript/JavaScript IntelliSense is great.

I use VSCodeVim, of course (because I don't like life to be simple).

A custom keyboard layout AND Vim keybindings, that's like typing masochism! 🙃

First of all I've got the Synthwave '84 theme going. 😁
As for the rest, I've got SCSS Lint & IntelliSense (because I'm loopy and don't pay attention as much as I'd like to), Minify & Beautify (because I am both anal-retentive and lazy at the same time), Live Server, Jekyll Snippets, Azure Repos, and last but not least Discord Presence (because I'm a social creature and I like to share unnecessary stuff with people that don't care).

Ergodox keyboard + Vim bindings in Code.
I thought I quit masochism when I switch from a tiling WM to MacsoX :D

I don't use many extensions myself. Except for Prettier, vim bindings, and some language linter.

Heh yeah. I partly designed my keyboard layout so that I don't have to re-map too much in Vim to make it usable. HJKL are still movement but in a slightly different place and order. It's fine I swear! Also have an ErgoDox but it's a bit big for me, I don't need all those keys so I'm building my own that's basically an Atreus - still ortholinear but smol

Absolute must-haves for me:

1. Bracket Pair Colorizer
This one has saved me a ton of time that would have been spent accidentally deleting brackets that I though went somewhere else.

2. Auto Import
This is a pretty nifty one. When you're calling a function or component, it automatically searches through the entire codebase and imports that function.

3. Prettier
Nothing is complete without auto-formatting.
