I use Gatsby. the development is really simple and the site is automatically a PWA

I'm in the Hugo camp. I understand why people find its templating language wired especially if you are coming from other frameworks like Django. But, I'm programming in Go since it first releases so for me it is ok to work with. However, I do not think are huge differences between the various site generators in the basic functionality. There is an interesting effort from Stackbit to create uniform templates that can be used in various SSG Uniform Themes | Stackbit which takes one little step forward to making the SSG itself not as relevant.

I am using 11ty, is very simple but I am not familiar with javascript (but I dont know any other languages ;) so everything is quite hard for me
