How would you target form placeholder using pseudo element

so im style hubspot forms and the hardest part is adding hover state or any pseudo-state... on the placeholders or styling they checkbox.. any ideas ?

If it's a textbox, I believe you can target the placeholder pseudo-element on hover by doing input:hover::placeholder { }. So you're not targeting the placeholders hover but changing the placeholder on the input hover.

Checkboxes don't use placeholders, just labels so that will be something different.

hey, have you ever worked with hubspot forms? I tried all that but doesn't work
