To reduce my netlify traffic I would like to use a custom proxy cache for larger files that aren't accessed this often. Like portfolio PDFs and other download stuff - possibly also proxy images.weserv.nl

My question is: does anyone have an idea how to do it best? As webserver I've thought about caddy because it seems to provide all this out of the box. But in this case I have to use a server with some drive space. Another idea I have would be a serverless function with blob storage. Or even a simple sub-domain behind cloudflare proxy and really doing only proxy work and let cloudflare cache it.

The setup doesn't have to perform like a CDN. So no geo redundancy, slower load time acceptable ...
It's only for resources that aren't part of initial page load.

Does anyone know a ready to use solution? Or has some ideas/suggestions?
