I used to play a lot of Animal Crossing Pocket Camp, and the use of heavily compressed JPG files as textures on 3d objects used to drive me crazy. As well as the 5 startup screens and the torrent of modal dialogs each time you start up the game...
What games do you love, but have a critical look upon regarding technical / UX choices?

Well, Shadow Of The Colossus is a hell of a masterpiece, but controlling the horse can be a big pain in the ass sometimes... Also, in The Last Guardian, giving commands to the beast was a really hard test to my patience skills, but that's the point actually, you do not control the beast, you control the kid that gives orders to the beast 👌

Regarding design, I don't like the Plague Inc. UI at all, it's a fun game but everytime I open it my eyes bleed 😭
