Now Live Reflect - automated webapp testing without writing any code

Hey, with the "destroyed interface" I mean your one. I've attached a screenshot. The step detail window was moved into the default sidebar and nothing was really clickable/visible/scrollable anymore there. Really no idea what happened and also not what exactly produced it. Just wanted to let...

Now Live Reflect - automated webapp testing without writing any code

The dropbox-picker doesn't work. It seems like your browser is detected as a bot, but even during recording the dropbox popup wasn't able to communicate with my shootager.app page anymore. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1KMaauWyNKR4-9FGFetNwm4ogl6c93Pqa/view @all: Don't try to get anywhere...

Now Live Reflect - automated webapp testing without writing any code

@fitzn first feedback: I'm unable to revert a recorded step or delete it!? I'm unable to paste something in an input field - both by CMD+V and right-click. I'm unable to edit the input value in the right step-by-step sidebar. All of this only applies to thee initial recording, in editing...

Now Live Reflect - automated webapp testing without writing any code

@fitzn will try it out. You answered everything pretty well. Right now I depend on a puppeteer/puppeteer testsuite and think about switching to microsoft/playwright . Puppeteer is great, but Playwright has more browser support and I have some browser edge-cases, the most interruptive one...

Now Live Reflect - automated webapp testing without writing any code

@fitzn ist it able to remember a cookie/session or share it between tests? Or does every test have to start with inserting credentials? And do you encrypt the input values in any way? My case would a login only app, so without an account you can do nothing. And are test runs limited in any way...

Help Wanted Powerful and fast CMS?

I will always throw Statamic in. The v3 release is planned for this year. And they are already in rc phase, so no alpha/beta anymore. The v3 is based on a fully functional Laravel - so there is nothing more powerful and also not much faster, except static pages, which is also possible with...

    Social distancing games

Hey, we all have to get used to not seeing each other and sitting around. So I've started to collect some browser games that you can play with your friends and family. In best case compared with a call or even videocall to add some more social to the game. :) Feel free to add some more games...

Resource How I've made my own image manipulation CDN for 3€/month

My problem with all serverless solutions is that I have to handle really large images (100-150MB PNGs). All FaaS I've found limit file inputs with 100MB or the RAM isn't enough. And I like the 3€ fixed over a flexible pricing. But I agree that for most simple web images cases FaaS would be a...

Resource How I've made my own image manipulation CDN for 3€/month

Don't get me wrong: you still need anywhere to store the images. But this one could be the slowest VM in the world, but this setup allows you to resize them on the fly and have the resizes cached in a CDN. So if storage is the problem: this isn't the solution. If only traffic is the problem...

Resource How I've made my own image manipulation CDN for 3€/month

Hey all, because of a downtime of Image cache & resize service today I've checked alternatives (except paying thousands of dollars for Cloudinary, Imgix ...). After some research I've found h2non/imaginary which does everything I want. So I've booted a 3€/month VPS on Truly thrifty cloud...
